The lack of clarity and support can make it hard to move forward with confidence, leaving many young professionals feeling stuck and unsure of their potential.

You’re hangry? You want more than a paycheck, you want purpose, impact and meaningful connections. But without the right guidance and support, moving forward can feel overwhelming.

That’s why we created the FutureFit Mindset Accelerator, a 9-month journey for Curaçao’s most driven young professionals.

This is your chance to master essential skills, design a life of learning and social-emotional growth and move forward with purpose guided by inspiring mentors and deliberate, achievable steps.

Building the future together: A mission in action

I, Steven de Lira, am on a mission to make Curaçao the first country in the world where all young professionals can access a vibrant network of mentors. As part of this program, we will challenge you to use the skills and abilities you develop to contribute to the common mission.
This is a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and practice in real-world settings while being part of a transformative movement. At Gide·Nuhs, we create an independent talent agency rooted in Radical Trust. Our mission is to redefine talent development, providing early scouting and mentoring not just for athletes, but for talents across all areas, from arts and sciences to leadership and practical skills.

How it all starts

Only 30 young professionals will be invited to have an intake session. From there, a maximum of 20 participants will join the full accelerator program.

We kick off this transformative program with a weekend designed to connect deeply with each other and lay the foundation for the journey ahead.:

  • Get to know your fellow participants and mentors.
  • Dive into the core theories and practices that will shape your mindset throughout the program.
  • Reflect on who you are now and who you want to become.

What to expect?

  • Workshops & Reflection: Monthly 4-hour sessions, held in the evenings or on weekends, at partner organizations or inspiring locations designed to enhance the learning experience.
  • Personalized Mentorship: Build your network of mentors who will guide and support your journey.

What do we expect from you?

This program is not just about your growth – it’s about paying it forward. As part of the FutureFit Mindset Accelerator, you will be a FutureFit ambassador, and you’ll commit to:

    • Becoming a Mentor: Embrace and experience the philosophy of “Everyone is a Mentor” by guiding others and helping them on their journeys.

This program is designed for just 20 participants to ensure a deeply personalized experience.

  • Interview invitations sent: February 7-9, 2025
  • Interviews held: week of February 12, 2025
  • Kick-off retreat weekend: March 1-2, 2025
  • Monthly 4-hour sessions till the end event on November 27.

The FutureFit Mindset Accelerator: A Deep Dive into Social Deep Learning

Core Philosophy

The FutureFit Mindset Accelerator is rooted in the belief that “Everyone is a Mentor.”
Our foundation lies in Social Deep Learning, a model that emphasizes the importance of deep social
interactions and reflections in achieving continuous self-discovery and development. Inspired by the
Southern African philosophy of Ubuntu—“I am because we are”—this approach highlights people’s
interconnectedness and shared growth.

What is Social Deep Learning?

Social Deep Learning views human development as a social and cyclical process aimed at fulfilling fundamental needs:

  1. Safety: Feeling secure and grounded.
  2. Purpose: Knowing you make a meaningful impact.
  3. Belonging: Experiencing connection and community.
  4. Growth: Continuously learning and evolving.

This approach complements traditional individualistic methods like introspection and affirmations by emphasizing

  • Commitment: ~10 hours/month (including sessions, homework, and reflection)
